IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!
A large number of humans in our community have been complaining about being disturbed during all hours of the day and night by the noise of felines mating. Please be considerate of their feelings while expressing yours. Don't forget, many of these humans keep us fed. And please, if you haven't been "fixed" use some good cat sense! A little reckless mating can lead to overpopulation, which can result in undesirable consequences. Have a heart, but be smart!
LET THE BIRDS SING THIS SPRING
It has been requested that a ban on bird catching be put in place during spring. It seems that there are many residents in our community, mostly human, who actually enjoy the annoying singing of birds in the springtime. As a courtesy to those apparently suffering from some hearing disorder, we will let the birds sing until further notice. In case anyone is wondering, mice are still fair game.

JOIN US FOR AN EASTER PARADE AND FUN IN THE PARK
We are having an Easter Parade on Sunday, April 21. It will begin on Main Street at 9 a.m., and will end at Oakwood Park for a day of fun. We are encouraging everyone to wear something fun and festive such as bunny ears, a cotton tail, a frilly bonnet, a chicken suit, etc. So if you got em, wear em! Here are just a few of the activities planned for the day:
PAW READER TO VISIT OUR COMMUNITY
Once again Miss Teak, Paw Reader, will be visiting our community. Have you ever wondered how many lives you have lived? How many you have left? Where you have been, and where you are going? If you are looking for a little insight on your past, present, and future, stop by and see Miss Teak. You will find her behind Ling Ling's Tea House on Western Street during the entire month of April. There is talk around town that she can also mix up some pretty potent potions as well. Don't miss this limited opportunity.
DOG SHOW IN OAKWOOD PARK
There will be a Dog Show held in Oakwood Park Saturday, April 28, at 9 a.m. Anyone interested in a little fun and mayhem is invited. If we stir up enough fur, maybe next year they will hold it somewhere else. We must stick together and do everything we can to keep Oakwood a cat-friendly park. Let's keep the bark out of our park! Hisssssssss!
